My computerThis subpage is sacrificed to my hobby, connected with a vintage computers, strictly speaking - Atari XE. My first Atari 65xe was given to me by my parent (Christmas 1987 I suppose...) Then started the best part of my childhood.. - all these funny games like Boulder Dash, River Raid and so on... After 3-4 years of playing games (non stop...) I started programming (BASIC, LOGO...), then, after next 2 years - 6502 Assembler (1994).

C64In 1993 I started creating music with my 65XE and Chaos Music Composer - the most famous tracker on Atari. In 1992 I got in touch with the computer "scene" phenomenon in Poland, at this time it was only C64 scene. With my friend (Vitos) we've found Faith group which I soon left in 1994, because I joined Taquart - a brand new group on Atari scene. 1995.

Atari 800xl1995, 1996 and 1997 were the most fruitfull years for the Atari scene. Copy parties, tons of software, demos, music & graphics collections! Unfortunately, mainly because of PC's and other normal things like work, education or marriage - all these people left scene, sometimes unfortunately for ever...

Nowadays, the Atari scene in Poland is still alive, but it is really small - more or less few hundreds people - real maniacs, indeed!

Grayscale Project

It is being at this moment only one symptom of my Atari-Scene activity. Together with Łukasz Sychowicz (aka X-ray) & Bartek W±siel (aka BeWu), we are trying to promote atari music all over the world.

The only thing I can say here is to recommend you our website: http://grayscale.scene.pl, where one can download our music stuff. You can also find out what exactly "Atari scene" mean.

I will be very grateful, if you put a link to our website. If you do it, please, contact us - we'll do the same with a link to YOUR website.

Cogito demo

"Cogito" is the demo I created in 1999. It is sacrificed to people who passed away... It was presented at Opalenica'99 Copy Party.

Authors:

Greg/Aids/BB (code, music, design)

Jaskier/Taquart (TMC player)

Ars/Aids (graphics)

Slaves/Taquart (fonts)

Lyrics: "Przesłanie Pana Cogito" by Zbigniew Herbert.

Download: cogito.zip (51.4KB)

Back To Life II demo

The soundtrack to the "Back to life II", an oldskool atari demo, which was presented at Orneta 2k4 copy-party. The music was prepared in a really big hurry, so the final effect is not very good. Nevertheless, you can download whole demo or sap file only and listen to the music. Enjoy!
